This wedding, in a nutshell was
We had the pleasure of photographing this awesome couple for their engagement session and were super excited to meet their baby Chevy!! We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxed, fun and friendly couple! We are super excited for their wedding in November!!
Taken at Jenkins Orchard.
Sooky & Martin are the type of people you meet and know you can be friends with straight away. They are so fun and friendly and it was such a pleasure to be there to witness and document their beautiful wedding. They had a beautiful tea ceremony with their family in the morning at Butleigh Wooton where they would celebrate the rest of the evening. I think it would have to be one of the classiest venues in Melbourne and excellent to have an indoor alternative for rainy day shots. Sooky sung a really special song to Martin as a surprise just before they said their vows and I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!! Such talent!! Thank you again for choosing us! We had such an awesome day with the two of you.
Much, much love, ell & karen. XO
When I think back to Tom & Yaana’s wedding I get love hearts in my eyes! We are SO happy for the lovely newlyweds to have got married and feel SO privileged that we were invited to celebrate and document their beautiful wedding in another country. They got married in the wonderful Kumeu Valley, New Zealand which is Yaana’s home town with friends, the forest and beautiful sunshine surrounding them. Their giant fun bridal party is just one sign of just how cherished these two are by their friends and you could really feel that on the day! They celebrated straight away with some mexican food, music, a delicious BBQ and of course CAKE!! We had such a great time driving through the picturesque valleys and stopped at Yaana’s Aunty and Uncles awesome property for some drinks and photos! After some fun in the sun and photos at a hidden forest we drove to Coatesville Settlers Hall where guests met for a yummy feast of curries, salads and homemade ice cream! Tom & Yaana with the help of incredible friends and family did such an amazing job of decking out the hall with fairy lights and foliage and really made it scream Tom & Yaana! Thanks again guys for the opportunity to be a part of your special day and Congratulations!! Much love, Ell & Karen.
This is the long awaited blog post of the Oh-So-Fabulous wedding of my best friends Estelle & Adrian. I ditched my camera for (most of) the day to be a bridesmaid (woohoo! C: ) and am absolutely stoked about how awesome a job Mum did! Adrian and Estelle have lived in different cities for most of their relationship (yes, they’re amazing) so they decided to tie the knot pretty much smack bang in the middle of both cities, in a little country town called Euroa. The town is full of character with it’s wonderful old buildings and a bank that Ned Kelley robbed but the Euroa Butter Factory definitely stole their hearts. Every little crack and crevice holds so much delight and beauty and the staff are so wonderful and the FOOD! Don’t even get me started on their deep fried olives… Wow. Back to the wedding…. up to this day it had been very very hot and sunny but it was time.. the rain must fall sometime and God decided it would fall very hard that morning. There were a few changes to the plan but in the end the day could not have gone more perfectly and we all had the best time of our lives. Estelle and Adrian, you two are so wonderfully perfect for each other. It’s been such an honour to be friends with such good-hearted, strong loving people like yourselves.
I hope you love reliving the day through these wonderful photos taken by the Amazingly talented Karen. Love Ell XO

This was our first wedding of the year and what a way to kick start 2014 by documenting some of my best friends’ tie the knot!
Bek (Babs) & Mitch had their ceremony under a canopy Mitch made, (he’s one of those cool crafty guys) on the rooftop of the St Kilda at the Royal Melbourne yacht squadron. Guests celebrated with picturesque views of the St Kilda beach and gathered later in the harbour room for delicious food, drinks and of course, much dancing. We had so so much fun with their huge bridal party. It was so awesome to be there to witness and document my pals. Hope you love, ell & karen XO
James and Chloe got married at the St. Leonards Yaught club looking out over the water a few months ago. On the day we drove around the area to find some cool spots to match our very fun couple and were SO excited to be able to find a field full of hay bails! It was even better that there was an entrance perfectly cut out to fit the super cute combi van they’d hired for the day. Here are our favourite shots from their funky beach wedding. k&e XO
